Taliana Herrera investigates how activity of large neural populations gives rise to the presence of distinct oscillations in the brain.
There are different types of interactions between oscillations reported in the literature, one of these being Phase-Amplitude Coupling (PAC). In her project, Taliana reviews the existing methods to calculate PAC on EEG/MEG data. Here, she analyzes which ones overcome better the source-mixing problem due to volumen conduction.
